STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

This legislation amends the Idaho Code § 49-420 to create a Choose Life license plate by the addition of a new
section 49-420R.
This will provide a special license plate option for people who wish to proudly express their support of the
unborn children.
Funds from the sale of this plate will be used by the non-profit organization, Choose Life Idaho, Inc., to help
support Pregnancy Care Centers in the State. It will also be used to engage in education and support of adoption
A three-member advisory committee will allocate funds received to qualifying organizations who submit
acceptable applications for grant money.
FISCAL NOTE
This bill has no fiscal impact on the General Fund. All costs of administering the specialty plate program by
